Probably the best place to start is for you to come along to one of our services on a Sunday. This is a friendly and welcoming environment so you can come along relax and just enjoy the experience.
At the Family Service there will be a lively programme with singing, items for the children and a thought provoking Bible based message for the adults. The youngsters are invited to go along to their own classes - Creche, Sunday School and BibleClass.
The service is followed by a chance to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with a range of snacks to keep you sustained until lunchtime!
You will find Lennox to be a welcoming and lively church with a modern and progressive outlook. We are always pleased to welcome new friends.
You will have the chance to get involved in events designed to cater for all age groups and a range of different interests.
Our activities are all detailed in the What’s On page. However, typically on Sundays we meet at 10am for a Communion Service.
We would be pleased to welcome all Christians to the 10am service. This lasts about an hour, tends to be a quiet and reflective time of worship and is followed at 11:15 by the Family Service.
The 11:15 Family Service is our busiest and most popular service and most visitors choose to attend at that time.
On a Sunday evening we usually follow a pattern; First Sunday of the month - the Church at Prayer (this is a focused prayer meeting where we concentrate on local, national and international concerns). The remaining Sunday evenings focus on Bible study with some good quality teaching and an emphasis on an application to modern living. Sometimes we have a more relaxed time of fellowship.

This tends to vary. The church core membership is around 50 people but many more are associated with us and come regularly to services. On a Sunday morning - our flagship service there may be as many as 80-90 depending on the time of year.
You can choose to join in with the community singing as you wish. There is no expectation that the audience will be actively involved. There will be occasional opportunities to contribute to the programme but only on an entirely voluntary basis.
We have tried to model our church on New Testament principles. The church is led by a team of elders and deacons. These are biblical terms denoting those with responsibility for the spiritual and strategic direction of the church together with the practical and programming details.
Come as you are. There is no particular dress code - most people dress casually but it is your choice.
